December 27

Today SEA WORLD!!  We woke up to a cool day but decided to go to Sea World anyway.  As always, Sea World is a lot of fun and we managed to see four shows, go on some rides and see a few exhibits before it closed.  The Shamu show was, as usual, great and a lot of fun to watch.  It’s amazing how the whales can jump so high and be in control of where they land with the handlers in the water.  We also saw an animal show that featured dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, geese, a pony, a kangaroo and a little pig that stole the show.  All of the animals in this show had been rescued from animal shelters.  Of course the sea lions put on a funny play on detective work, with Uncle Max (a walrus) being the must find guy, it was hilarious.  Most of the rides were open and most of us went on them.  The day ended up staying cool, but we were warm enough in our shorts and light jackets.  The local people were wearing winter coats, scarves, hats, some even had mittens on.
