December 22

Today all of us drove to Corpus Christi so the we could see the Gulf of Mexico and tour the USS Lexington.  The drive took about 2 hours, not including the stop for breakfast.  The Lexington is a huge aircraft carrier that has been made into a museum with a beach not too far, perfect for what we wanted to do.  After going through the ship there was enough time for Nick, Madison, Alaynna and Kelsey to walk along the beach and actually go for a swim in the ocean.  We were the only ones there who were in the water as the locals were wearing long pants and jackets, probably wondering what hositpal had let us out on a day pass.  It was a long day and everyone was tired at the end of it.

  1. Hi Madison and family!
It looks like you are having a great time in Texas! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Gramma and Grampa counted down the days until your arrival with them. Should I count down the days till school starts again? Naw, I won’t. Enjoy your time in the warmth and sunshine!
